In fact, the attitude towards education must be revisited. An insight into the degenerated standard of education in many nations causes the heart to bleed and the eyes to wet. It sends immeasurable chills down the spine of any sane and concerned citizen. The politicization of the educational systems makes the situation worse. Nevertheless, all hope is not lost. Abraham Lincoln speaks to the countries today. Only if our leaders would learn from his disposition towards education; only if the parents and teachers would borrow a leaf from him; the country will be better for it. In other words, if the expectation of this great soul (Lincoln) is employed and attained in our nations, it will not just bring us to the doorsteps of our progress but will also open the door and lead us into our glory. Many nations are richly blessed and so should be built to greatness by their educated citizens. The task falls on all to contribute one's quota to the project of restoring standard education in the land. Posterity will never grant us pardon if we allow this call to fall on deaf ears. Surely, we can change the status quo for the better and even for the best, so that we can re-write our history and develop our nations.
